US Monitor Wyoming (BM-10)


USS Wyoming (BM-10) was the second ship of the United States Navy to bear that name, but the first to bear it in honor of the 44th state. The first Wyoming was named for Wyoming Valley in eastern Pennsylvania. The Wyoming (BM-1)0 was commissioned on 8 December 1902. She participated in the support of the war for independence of Panama from Columbia in 1903.
